The global need for food and fuel might escalate destruction of priceless eco systems and contribute to escalated global warming. Are you satisfied with eating the food from the poor? 

It is hard times in the so called western world. Interest rates are growing, markets are falling, and everything is becoming more expensive. Among this, fuel and food. Prices on the global food market are rocketing.

One of the reasons for this is effects caused by global warming. Crops are dying, good agricultural land disappear because of flooding and drying. Deserts are growing. Cities are growing, more and more of the land which could have fed us are gone. Some times, forever.

More mouths
We can’t blame the farmers if they quit and want do do something different. After all, they also need an income. Farmers all over the world have not recieved what they are worth. After all, we can’t survive by wearing a diamond ring. We all need food and water.

Another stunning fact is that more people in China are now able to eat enough. Less people have to starve. The same with India. More mouths to satisify demands more food, but the total amount of food is limited. After all, we can’t blame more than 2 billion people if they want to and finally are able to eat enough food.

Basic economic rules says that when demand crosses the proposals prices will rise. Only those with enough money can get the goods.

The worst of this is the growing starvation in really underdeveloped countries, like many countries on the African continent. We have only seen the beginning of the coming disasters. Everybody in the western world should feel guilt and shame when they see skeleton-like children depreived for everything, doomed to die from starvation and diseaes. Because we have ate their food!

Deforestation
But the worst of all is the idea that we have to use good farm land and existing forests to produce bio fuels, in order to meet the huge global demand of fuel. Tropical forests will be destroyed, pricesless eco systems will be destroyed forever. The carbon emissions from these processes will increase the speed of the global warming, meaning even more land and forests will be destroyed. Millions will starve and suffer. Humans tend to think and act like parasites. We are coming, eating everything and moves on to other edible objects. Totally without toughts that everyting is chained. Remember the last rulers in our world. The dinosaurs became too big, they ate everything, and finally got extinct. We are in a huge danger of doing the same. And we don’t need the help from any asteroid or meteor, we are capable of destroying the entire planet.

The need
For our bare survival we need to stop this insane madness. We must focus global research on how to replace all carbon burning energy with hydrogen and other renewable sources, producing energy without killing ourselves and the globe.

We need to do serious research on how to syntesize proteins in order to produce artifically energy sources for our consumption. One should not laugh to the idea of the syntesized beef, or carrots from the laboratory. We just can’t continue to rape mother earth and destroy the basic for our and the planets bare existence. Otherwise nature might take a really big revenge. All populations on earth are natural limited. We should not think that we have rose beyond these laws.

I really hope that the madness will stop. Stop destroying the forests. Stop killing species. Stop using farmland to produce biofuel. Stop the madness of carbon emissions. Invest in the future, for the best of the entire planet. We must accept less beef in order to produce more green, and by that help those who are starving every day. It should be a global act of humanity.

The world doesn’t need more sick fat people. The world doesn’t need any more warlords. The world doesn’t need the military-industrial complex. The world doesn’t need any more ruthless cynical capitalists. The world doesn’t need any more carbon emission.
