It is a hopeless fact that we need energy for our engines. Without our engines, we will not survive. But by using these engines, we are killing ourselves.

In one way or another. Burning fossil fuels destroys our atmosphere, leading to global warming and destruction of entire continents. The world urbanization wave has clustered millions in dense populated cities located just below sea level. Entire economies are resting upon these cities. What will happen when several hundred millions have to flee when the sea level begins to rise? Where should they run, and for what?

In a pathetic attempt to slow down the destruction of our atmosphere we have changed farm land from crop production onto biologic fuel production. And we have supported this development when we know for sure that our world is starving. Millions will not be fed because their food production areas are turned into fuel production sites.

This don’t bother the rich part of the world since we just can buy ourselves free. We won’t starve, and we can afford rising fuel prices and rising food prices. The western man cannot deny former development countries like China and India to increase their wealth. After all, our fat belly is partly made by buying cheap goods and services from them.

 
China and India have one third of the entire global population. These countries are developing in such a speed that historians have problems following it. The rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting poorer and more. Endless more.

 
An already really sick world is getting sicker. Farm land disappear, climatic changes are producing more deserts. And we continue to burn oil, gas and coal. In reality, we are doomed. The modern civilization is destroying itself. All economic theories centred on growth have failed, because they did not take notice of the simple fact that when you are building a pyramid and using the ground under it in order to get higher into the sky, then you will, undermine your fundament. We are consuming ourselves to death. We act like predators with no understanding that our globe actually is one intervowen organism which must be in harmony with itself.

 
The third world war will eventually occur as a result of a coming climatic disaster, perhaps a war for food and water.
